Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of our users. Pathway Medical Inc. (the “Company” or “we”) provides this Privacy Policy to set out, amongst other things, the type of information that is collected through our website (pathway.md) (the “Website”), through our software (the “Software”), as well as through the service provided through the Website or Software (the “Service”) (the Service, the Website and Software being collectively referred to as “Pathway”), the purpose and use of the collected information, and your rights with regard to the collected information.  

Automatically Collected Information  

The Company may collect certain information automatically including, but not limited to, the type of device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use Pathway.  

We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include cookies and web beacons. These technologies are used for analytic and product improvement purposes, such as seeing which areas and features of our Website are popular, or determining whether an email has been opened and acted upon. Some third party service providers that we engage may also place their own cookies on your hard drive; note that this Privacy Policy covers only our use of cookies, and does not include the use of cookies by such third parties.  

Information We Collect  

We collect any information that you give us. For example, we collect information about you when you fill out a form, give us feedback, ideas or submissions about Pathway, communicate with us via third party social media sites, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us via any other means. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide to us.  

Information from Other Sources  

We may also obtain information about you from other sources, and combine that with information we collect through your access and use of Pathway. For example, if you create or log into your account through another site (like Twitter.com or Facebook.com), we may have access to certain information about you from those sites, such as your name, account information, and friends lists, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by those sites.  

How We Use Your Information  

We may use your information for various purposes, including:  

  • Providing, delivering, testing and improving Pathway;
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and to provide customer service;
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with Pathway;
  • Detect, investigate and prevent suspected breaches of the terms applicable to the use of Pathway;
  • Send you technical notes or updates;
  • Help understand your needs and provide you with better service.  

Pathway is based in Canada, and the use of your information is governed by Canadian law. However, your information may be transferred to third party services in other jurisdictions. By accessing or using Pathway, or by otherwise providing any information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of that information in and to Canada, the U.S., and other countries.  

Third Party Services  

Some information can periodically be transmitted to external services, such as Google Analytics, to help us improve Pathway.  

Opt Out  

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.  

If you want us to your delete information, please email us at contact@pathwaymd.com with your request. We will take steps to delete your information as soon as we can, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as may be necessary to fulfill the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information (including location information) about you for a certain period of time.  

Security  

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve Pathway. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.  

Age  

Pathway is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided personally identifiable information to us without their consent, he or she should contact us at contact@pathway.md
